Final Assignment UN (2 parts)

Part I of your final assignment is to visit the following site:

http://www.un.org/Overview/uninbrief/

Explore the site and tell me in a comment what you learned about the UN.  Perhaps you might want to talk about the strengths and/or weaknesses of the UN.  You might want to talk about the structure  of the organization.  Just be able to articulate something concrete you learned about the UN. This is due by Wednesday, June 10th at 11pm.  This will count as a quiz grade!

Part II of your final assessment is to bring in your textbooks.  All textbooks must be returned by Wednesday, June 10th.  This will also count as a quiz grade!

Welcome!

Welcome to the Blanchard Global UN Final Project Site.  Your final project will be to respond to three different forum questions.  Remember to speak as a representative of your country.  Here are some general rules to remember:

Rules for posting:

  • Respect the rules of writing.  Proper spelling, capitalizations, punctuation, etc are all critical.  Remember this is an online conversation.  A great suggestion is to type your responses first in Microsoft Word, then proofread, then finally copy and paste into the blog.
  • Please keep your comments concise.  Say what you have to say and move on!
  • Please refrain from vulgar language, side conversations
  • Please make sure to check the website frequently because I will be monitoring the site regularly as well as posting additional questions to guide the conversation

Make sure to leave a comment to this post to see how the comment function works.  This will be graded!!!

Have fun and remember that this is an interactive way to engage your mind as well as foster great conversation.  Good luck!

PS.  I have decided to open up the FIRST question early so feel free to get started before Wednesday, June 3rd (It is located above this post).  Please make sure though to reply to this first post for credit!
